That's a shame, I really enjoyed her character, but I never went looking for any kind of Bomb Girls fan community, I just watched it... I really only talked to a couple friends online about it, and only one had much interest in it.

It's a shame she got ruined for you.

Agreed. F/f fandoms tend to idolize lesbian characters and their actors solely for existing (which I suppose I get, since lesbian characters are still few and far between, but doesn't mean it doesn't get annoying). Same thing happened to me with Lauren on Lost Girl. I find the actress to be the weakest of the show but you'd never know it from all the praise she gets from fans for her non-emoting.

Also, I could never get into the Kate/Betty ship. Maybe because I found Kate too much of a non-entity. I much preferred Betty/Theresa.

This was my experience with Bomb Girls fandom as well. I could never decide if Betty or Kate had worse stans. All I knew was that they'd ruined both characters for me.

The way she treated Kate in season two ruined it for me, but the fandom definitely didn't help.
