Agreed. F/f fandoms tend to idolize lesbian characters and their actors solely for existing (which I suppose I get, since lesbian characters are still few and far between, but doesn't mean it doesn't get annoying). Same thing happened to me with Lauren on Lost Girl. I find the actress to be the weakest of the show but you'd never know it from all the praise she gets from fans for her non-emoting.

Also, I could never get into the Kate/Betty ship. Maybe because I found Kate too much of a non-entity. I much preferred Betty/Theresa.
