I would definitely talk to your doctor. As someone who is not a medical professional, I can only recommend you take a look at what is still possible to catch. Whooping cough/pertussis is making a comeback because people aren't vaccinating their children. I'd also talk to your doctor about the chickenpox vaccine if you've never had it because it's way worse to catch it as an adult and was super common for children.

Thanks for the advice! I did have chicken pox so now I only need to worry about shingles in that area.

Considering it, definitely. My grandmother got it a few years ago and it was really bad.

nayrt - The shingles vaccine is generally only given to older adults, like 60+.

You're not eligible to get the shingles vaccine until you're 50+.
