The only side effects listed at the Norwegian Health Department for the (current*) polio vaccine is:

- Soreness at the place they stuck the needle. (often)
- Fever (short term) (In some cases)
- Hives. (Almost never)

It is also listed as safe to give to pregnant women, stop scaring people with your anecdotal evidence and bullshit. For 99,9% vaccines are safe and offers no bad side effects.

*Vaccines get safer every year, the vaccines I got as a kid was less safe than the ones I will give to my children, as they are isolating what the strain of virus they are putting in your body, I now realize I don't have the proper vocabulary to explain that in English. Anyway long story short: Vaccines are in general quite safe and they are getting safer every day.
