What's even the deal with the integrity in gaming journalism angle? Like, I don't get how it's such a big deal if big-name websites give biased reviews. You have many other ways to find out if you'll like a game before you buy it.

That's the thing that gets me. They act like this is some big noble crusade, but...it doesn't fucking matter. Most people don't buy games solely based off of reviews, just like most people don't buy albums or go to the movies based solely off reviews (and those reviews have all the same "issues" that game reviews do).

And it's also just like, good job noticing the obvious, guys? I mean next thing you're gonna tell me the the Academy Awards are just about people in Hollywood rewarding each other for doing Hollywoody things! Gasp!
