I thought Fiyero in the book had dark skin? Or maybe I've always headcanoned him as black, I dunno.

Yeah, pretty sure he did. There was the line about the blue diamond tattoos contrasting with his dark skin or something (don't have my copy with me atm).

Yeah, I remember that line for sure. I always had such a strong vision of what he looked like in my head (dark skin, reddish hair) that I knew it couldn't just be my imagination.

Yes indeed, that's why I said it' be a good homage to the book... and included the fan art of the dark-skinned Tatooed one. To contrast with the "Disney," conceptualization, the facebook game, and the merchandise (like the christmas ornament)

I'm just confused by the fact that people drew him as white in the first place.
