Moose. It was offered to me by my weird but awesome 97-year-old great grandma. I was maybe four or five years old. I liked it a lot, though.

Ohh moose is awesome! Reindeer meat is pretty similar, but better! You should try it...

Not sure if it's sold anywhere in the UK - but I will try it when I go home for Christmas! I may have eaten some reindeer as a kid (we had relatives with a hunting license), but I don't actually remember anything about it.

If it wouldn't get stopped in customs I would totally have sent you some, as a lot of it is dried and treated with salt so it would hold.

You are also off course welcome to eat dinner at my house at any time! But the airfare might be a bit expensive as I eat a lot of reindeer meat in tortilla wraps and with salad and stuff, which isn't really a "normal" way to eat it, but it is hella delicious! You should try it!

Awww, this is sweet. Thank you ^^

Reindeer in tortilla wraps with salad sounds right up my alley - I actually tend to do similar things to all the meat I normally consume. So am absolutely giving this a try.

(and I should visit Norway sometime. Funny thing, I've never been there despite the fact that it's so close to my two homelands).
