I was just wondering if anyone had minor points about their fandoms that they head canon really strongly nonetheless.

Mine:

In Captain America-
Steve HAS had a kiss since 1945 and it was with Peggy (when she was lucid, obviously) when he went to see her again after so many decades

I have A WHOLE LOT of uber fluffy brOTP headcanons for Murder Rooms.

I've never seen the Back to the Future films.

I feel like I'm missing out on a cultural touchstone sometimes.

I mean, it's not as widespread as Star Wars or Terminator, but it feels like something that formed an indelible part of a lot of people's childhoods.

That depends on where you're from and what generation you're, I'd say. I hadn't seen any of the BTTF films until I turned seventeen.

I don't know anything about your tastes, but they are honestly one of the best action/adventure sci-fi things I've seen in my life.

(although I find that tumblr navigation is generally fairly easy. There are the general tags - tumblr.com/tagged/InsertTag - that contain all the posts that have a certain tag among their first five tags. You need to have an account to use these, but once you register, browsing them makes everything simpler. And then there are tags on individual blogs - InsertBlog.tumblr.com/tagged/InsertTag; on fannish blogs, the standard deal is /fanart, /fanfiction, /gifs, /meta, /screencaps, and episode- or character-related tags. That's all there is to it, really.)

Harry Potter/Hogwarts

For Harry Potter, I headcanon that parts of America and Canada share a wizarding school. Same with America and Mexico. But all three countries also have their own schools elsewhere. In fact, I head canon that a lot of countries merge so there's one school - so that's why Viktor Krum can be Bulgarian, but where Durmstrang is is still ambiguous.

Honestly, I don't go for the Steve is a virgin thing. Considering where he lived growing up (if you go for bisexual Steve) and the fact he toured around with all those OSU girls, I prefer sexually experienced and confident Steve.

Some of my mine:
-Steve and Bucky make up crazy stories about their various Howling Commando adventures (there has been at least one fic about this).
-Thor and Steve play up the whole "OMG we are outsiders and don't know anything, what is a toaster?????" thing. They are best friends as well (they got a lot in common).
-Daryl (TWD) was a mechanic before the zombies. He is also fluent in Spanish.
-Charles has all of the stuff Raven and Erik left at the mansion boxed up in a storage room.

I headcanon Steve as inexperienced due to lack of interest myself. Considering we've seen him have a grand total of three kisses on screen and he initiated none of them, I don't feel like he's that interested in pursuing sex although he obviously has rosy ideas about relationships.

He probably has a really good idea of how people discuss sex, though, and wouldn't be a part of the "women clearly don't think about sex" brigade.

SVU: Munch gets really depressed every year on the anniversary of his divorce from Gwen, so Olivia goes over to his place and watches old movies with him so he won't have to be alone.

-Bertie Wooster's parents went down with the Titanic
-All iterations of John Watson are middle children until proven otherwise
-Mortal Jack Frost (RotG) was a Quaker

The "A" necklace that Amy wore almost all the time on Doctor Who was a christening gift from her parents, and one of the little 'remnants' that stayed behind when they were erased.

Way back in the halcyon days of SPN, that Sam and Dean hooking up in canon would have been worryingly in character and not a stretch for the writers. Of course it would have been fucked up too, but that wouldn't have been unusual for SPN!

Haha this is messed up but I totally headcanon Cartman and Kyle getting together when they're older as a hate pairing.

I headcanon that Legolas has at least an older brother (and Crown Prince of Greenwood). This brother is more "Sindarin" and acts more like a prince. Legolas can be so carefree and sheltered (so "Silvan") because he's not ever going to rule. (So, I like to think his brother has a son of his own who's also in succession and Thranduil's a grandpa.)

I also headcanon that Thranduil's wife is very much alive and well in Greenwood.

And, I personally like to think that Thranduil has a lot of other family (sisters or aunts, his mom and grandmother, etc.) who wouldn't be mentioned because they're not in the paternal line (and also because we don't really know how Thranduil is a Sindarin prince) but they're totally around and Thranduil's not really the lonely figure a lot of fans seem to like to make him.

Supernatural tiny headcanons:

Castiel has carefully looked after and preserved Jimmy Novak's wedding ring through all his/their assorted explosions and other horrible deaths. It was still in the pocket of the trench when Dean retrieved it from the reservoir, and Cas took it (with a few other important things) out of the coat before he left it behind in the laundromat.

The family photo that Bobby took of himself and the boys, the Harvelles and Cas in Season 5, had more than the one print Bobby burned at the end of the episode. He kept the negatives and made several copies, at least a few of which still survive, possibly in the boys' wallets or a safe or some other secure location.

Along the same lines, some of the contents of the Panic Room survived the fire that destroyed the rest of Bobby's house, and are still waiting patiently for someone to come dig through the rubble and find them.

In the Endverse, future!Cas lost his virginity to Annie Hawkins (the huntress with whom Bobby, Sam and Dean all had flings in the main timeline.)
