While I think the novel's going to go on to be regarded an enduring classic of the decade, I think the time for a movie while it's still topical is ticking rapidly. If it's not in the next 3-4 years
while Adrien Brody can still play Landsman, it might have to wait until 2035 when everything from the mid-2000s is reexamined and re-appreciated with heavy nostalgia.Re: What's Your Duke Nukem?

Maybe Wes Anderson will do it some day (he and Chabon are friends...), or, better pairing: Gentlemen of the Road. And obviously Kavalier & Clay can only be done justice in miniseries format.
