She did more in the later seasons, so just call the cosplay "later season Scully".

Also, if you're tall(er than Scully) it can be really hard to get a knee-length skirt. I'm 5'8", so not super tall, and everything business-like is either calf-length, or mid-thigh. Very frustrating! Mostly I just wear pants instead.

I'm taller than you, and so glad I don't have to wear business clothes. Literally every item of clothing looks different on me than on models or in a catalogue. Not bad per se, you just can't really rely on the length it has on the picture.

AYRT Fortunately I can sew, so I get longer skirts and take them up, but this doesn't work with everything!

sadly I have no such talent. I can mend a bit, but that's it.

Scully is pretty short, as well, so that probably has something to do with it. :P

Not really. Even when her clothes were "sexy," they were just closer fitting, not more revealing. She mostly wore skirts to the knees or pencil skirts that fell below the knee.

In the last season I was about 12 and I remember thinking that she always had one more button of her blouse undone than was necessary. But that was pretty much the extent.

I don't think she really wore above the knee skirts in later seasons, either. I recall her wearing more pantsuit type things, which is a lot more practical in her line of work, anyway.

I feel you. I'm just shy of 5'10" and I have a terrible time with skirts. Never mind fitted dresses... the hips of the dress always sit at my bellybutton. Agh. I don't have much luck with pants either, though, because the butt is always too tight and the waist too loose.

Sometimes I feel like all clothes are designed to fit a short, small-busted woman with no hips. Nothing fits, man, nothing fits!!
