I'm a straight, heteronormative shipper. I'm why they throw romance into action films. I'm the target audience for, say, why Ares had a 'thing' for Xena rather than the subtext between Xena and Gabrielle. If there's a female in the equation, like Buffy, I won't see anything slashy between Angel and Spike. For me, there's no subtext between two men clashing over a woman.

Sometimes, I feel like The Enemy in fandom.
