What are you looking forward to in the remainder of 2014 and then on to 2015?

In regards to media, I am of course looking forward to the new Avengers movie. Might be my first midnight screening! I also can't wait to watch my first season of Game of Thrones live.

Personally, I am about to finish my first 52 week money saving challenge. I plan on doing another one next year and in 2016 using that money for a trip to New York! If I can save extra money up I want to renovate my bedroom some.

What are you all looking forward to?

Star Wars Rebels, and hopefully what Alton has planned for 2015. (Lodges and treehouses to stay in and pretend you're in the Shire. Well, the shire next to several steel behemoths anyway)

What does the saving challenge entail, exactly?

You save money every week which totals $1378 at the end of the year. There are two ways to do it. Either you start at saving $1 in week one, then $2 in week two, working up to $52 OR (the way I prefer) start at $52 and work down to $1.

Mockingjay part 1. It comes out right as my exams are ending, so that will be reward to myself for finishing.
Hobbit 3. Everything I see makes me more excited for this movie.

I'm super excited for my awesome 11 day roadtrip down to South Carolina for a football game and then stopping to visit my grandparents for Thanksgiving. Then I took the whole week off between Christmas and New Years and I haven't decided where I'm going yet. Meanwhile, I booked a trip to visit a friend in Orlando and we're doing Harry Potter World because, why not?

I can't wait for Mockingjay to come out.

Congrats on saving and good luck planning for New York. Any special plans of things to do in NYC? I LOVE NY! It's so much fun and there's so many hidden gems.

Who are you going to go see play? Clemson or USC are the most likely. :D I am glad Catching Fire was so good, made me excited for Mockingjay. Not so excited they are breaking it up into two parts. :/

The main reason I am going is to see Lion King. But we also want to go to as many museums as possible. Plus, this will be the first time I will ever be in a big city!

DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION. I am sooooooo fucking ready and wish it was the 18th already. I've customized four different world states and can't wait to make my Inquisitors! I imagine I'll actually make all my Inquisitors before actually playing the game, because that's how much I love character creators. I hope BioWare doesn't screw this one up, but so far the reviews seem good so I'm going to keep optomistic. (If nothing else, I will probably enjoy the romance. I have a weakness for BioWare romances.)

There's plenty of other stuff, but #2 would probably be The Hobbit because Bilbo's tears are going to be delicious. All the angsty Bagginshield will give me life. (Also, I'm hoping more Hobbit will make more people get back into LOTR and write more Legolas/Gimli; it's one of my favorite pairings in pretty much anything.)

So it isn't out yet! For some reason, I thought it was. I think several people I follow on Tumblr are looking forward to it as well.

Yeah, there will be a lot of angsty fic. And even more fix-it ones.

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing my sister and her family sometime during the holidays, as I haven't seen them since frickin' July! Normally they'd be here for Thanksgiving, but that's not gonna work out this year.

Media wise, I'm looking forward to Helix S2 (so cracktastic, I don't even know what on earth they're going to do with the way it ended last time) and then Orphan Black S3. I also want to see a bunch of the Oscar-bait movies, so maybe my other sister living here now will mean that this happens.

Glad you get to see your sister. I only get to see my family back home live every two years or so.

I have not seen any trailers for Oscar-bait movies. What is coming up?

In 2015, I want to visit Charleston, and I'm going to the 150th Anniversary of the Surrender at Appomattox. Like any Virginian I intend to flirt with Robert E. Lee.

2016 will bring us Moana.

The Hobbit. Which I am looking forward to and also not looking forward to at the same time, because I am not ready.

Warlords of Draenor, which is already out but I guess new content they'll add down the line and getting to play it properly. :P

And for 2015 Avengers: AoU, should be fun, though I have now started actively blocking spoilers for it because I don't want to see the entire movie before it comes out(that happened with TDW and it took some of the fun out of it).
