Haven't been a fan in, oh, a decade... but I take it Naruto/Sasuke didn't end up canon. Aw. Vague disappointment.

(also, my spellchecker isn't upset about Naruto. Is Naruto a real word?)

Haha I'm sure there was blatant, intentional ship fodder up through the end. Again, ten years out of date but Sasuke actually getting with Sakura is mind boggling, I legitimately felt like the only person he gave a shit about was Naruto. But hey, shonen slash ships aren't allowed to become canon no matter how much sexual tension they have, oh well.

Intentional ship fodder? Naruto was shonen series about friendship overcoming hate. Ships were very much an afterthought.

To be honest, even in the last chapters Sasuke did only give a fuck about Naruto and had lots of speeches stating such. It was just until the epilogue years in the future where he's suddenly with Sakura with no development leading up to it.

I don't really have anything against the pairing, but it was a bit of a head scratcher.
