I never actually finished HP (I was never that into it in the first place), but when I read Naruto's ending I thought the same thing. (I've heard so much about it by now that I feel I've read it, haha.)

Still...I'm sure it made some people happy, so good for them. (Plus, there were a few good bits in it!)

I didn't read naruto, but I read the ending just to see what's up with it. I kinda enjoyed it. The kids were all pretty cute (especially Kurenai's), except for next generation Naruto dude.

Didn't expect better from an outside perspective tbh.

I don't get the executive meddling accusations at all. Most shounen manga don't end with romantic 'resolution' on the level of Naruto, so it's not like it would be expected of him.

I liked it but not all aspects of it. Naruhina is totally plausible, and I can even see Sasusaku happening (although not fast enough to get married and have a kid). Actually with all those pairings, only the married with kid thing was iffy. Like they were hellbent on reproducing at the same time. Maybe Konoha got a huge supply of defective condoms one year?

I'm happy to neutral about most of the pairings that happened, but I've long been convinced that SasuSaku is an objectively bad pairing. You'd have to be crazy if you think that kind of development is somehow good for Sakura's character. It's so bad it's soured the entire ending for me, even though an OTP of mine actually became canon in it.

I never cared about any ships involving the Big 4, but even I'm baffled over the SasuSaku pairing since Sasuke never seemed to give a flying fuck about Sakura in the entire run of the series and it's completely out of left field (Kishi really is terrible at writing romance in general, like he said). Mostly I'm just bummed Sasuke didn't die horribly.

Haven't been a fan in, oh, a decade... but I take it Naruto/Sasuke didn't end up canon. Aw. Vague disappointment.
