You know, as someone who's slightly autistic, I don't really think you get it. Yeah, I get overwhelmed and can have meltdowns at too much social interaction or anxiety, and close myself off. I don't like too much of it. But at the same time, I crave friends and am pretty outgoing in the moment I am presented with people with similar i interests. In fact, it's to the point that they often don't understand when I say I need space,and ask why when I'm so friendly. So yes, autistic people can and do come off socially normal sometimes, you just don't know what might be going through their head. Although I don't know this Fandom or anything, so I can't comment on that.
