Frozen hasn't really 'gone from' anything. You might be talking about hearing different things from different people at different times? That would be hype and the backlash from said hype. The people who like a movie are going to talk a lot about the movie when it comes out, and the people who aren't as impressed are going to get sick of hearing about the damn thing, so their frustrations will come later.

This isn't something new, how are people still confused about this?

SA Actually another source of resentment might have been Frozen winning Best Animated Movie, especially with the judges supposedly not bothering with the category.

I think it's mostly background noise unless it's something you (general) really like or really hate.

Also, new people come into fandom all the time, so it is quite possible that this whole thing is a completely new experience for some of them.
