I agree. It's always seemed strange to me that people can be so frightened of it when it's just some thing that a dude on a forum made up. I mean, I get creepypasta and horror stories, but people seem to take it further than that and it's always seemed weird. But then the stabbing comes along and it just takes the whole thing to a level that actually is bizarre and kind of frightening - much more so than the original story ever was.

Turn out 12 year-olds are scarier than most stories you can come up with.

I'm only half-joking. It's kinda scary how intensely some children can convince themselves of things.

Kind of, yeah. If nothing else, things are always much more frightening when they actually exist. I'm not being sarcastic either. It's one thing to amuse yourself by imagining something terrible could be possible, and another thing to confront something that really exists.
