Well, someone doing a shitload of very fast translations in a very short time (as is often the case with scanlations, where new chapters sometimes get translated as soon as they come out) and translations that often take a lot of time - if they exist at all - (as is often the case with official ones) are bound to have some differences in quality.
And oh my god, it's almost - *gasp* - as if the people in one of these scenarios gets paid to do it!

If you think the scanlations are so bad, how about you try it yourself sometime? Then we'll talk again.

I did do scanlations. Now I get paid to do real translations.

Looking back on the scanlations I did back in the day, they weren't all that hot, but they were still better than a lot of the other stuff I've seen...
