I use a DivaCup, and it's basically changed my life. There's a bit of a learning curve on figuring out how best to get in inside (the guides they pack in with it are helpful though!), but once you do, you can't feel a thing and it stays put. Plus, 12 hours >>> 8, and medical grade silicone >>>> cotton wad.

TMI, but honestly, the best thing about it for me is the total nullification of odor issues. Since the blood gets held in the cup right after being released, it never hits air and starts to stink up the joint.
