there's a bad translation in Spirited Away of all things. When they're walking up to where all the seemingly deserted food stands are they describe it as an abandoned amusement park. The Japanese word used in the original dialogue does NOT mean "amusement park". It's a Japanese word that doesn't have a direct translation but it means a combination apartment complex/shopping mall which is why you see a bunch of food stands and no rides.
