I sort of agree with this. (Not the disgust part though)

Only that it doesn't bother me if they vote for one party exclusively as long as they have actually thought about what/who they're voting for. It bothers me when they vote for that party because that what they've always voted for or because that's what their family votes for or whatever.

It bothers me a bit when people end up voting for a party's platform rather than looking at issues. But if you look at each individual and end up voting along a party line anyway, I guess that's the way it goes.
