I'd love a Gundam series with a protagonist chick pilot who's as good in the cockpit as the dudes -- because let's face it, the pilots get a certain spotlight that the captains/politicians/bridge bunnies don't. Sayla was second rate to Char and Amuro as a pilot, Lalah died, Four died, haven't seen Wing, Cagalli got shafted, Stellar died, Lunamaria got a second-hand Gundam. So yeah, it would be cool if (in addition to Soma, who is awesome) 00 had a protagonist girl piloting. And Tieria would be an awesome chick, but...

. It'll take some major plot-wrangling for Tieria to be a girl.

Have you seen 0080? Chris... okay, yeah, she got fought to a standstill by Bernie in a Zaku, but she's one of my favorite Gundam females and arguably as much of a protagonist as Bernie is.
