Yeah, that is some messed up anatomy, but the way the OP said the character looks "so overweight it's depressing", kind of rubbed me the wrong way too xD

Besides which, she's not. Some of the proportions are pretty weird, but she's like lightyears from fat.

The thing that bothers me is that that character, canonically, is TWIG-SKINNY. If she were actually overweight, even a little, it wouldn't bother me a bit--I'd be thrilled, actually, as there aren't enough people willing to draw overweight characters period--but she's not. At all. She's the second-skinniest girl in the series. (And the other one is so slender she looks like a man.)

And the comments for that image have everyone falling over themselves about how perfect the girl looks. That's what really bothers me about it.
