32. To be honest, I don't think the changes you made with the red lines made the picture any better or worse. She DOES have a few anatomy problems every now and then, but, personally, I admire her artwork for her coloring more than the way she actually draws.

She may have anatomy flaws every now and then but Keysha-chan knows her way around a colored pencil and some Copic or Tria markers.

I wouldn't be afraid to critique her though. She is a pretty open person, and as long as you're not flaming her, the rabid fans won't bite you. They're too busy claiming the character she depicted in the picture belongs to them. ("OMG ROXAS IS MY HUSBAND!!11111111123456")

But yeah. Keira doesn't look overweight in that picture at ALL. (For one thing, it's not even the FINISHED version, so any curves in her body haven't been completely defined yet.)

Also: there's nothing wrong with drawing an overweight character. Granted this is fanart, so it's more about her style than the way the character is actually depicted, but.. You don't gotta be an asshole about it.

One--the last time I publically disagreed with her opinion, she called me an idiotic American who clearly didn't know what I was talking about, and went off on a tirade about American idiocy. Not kidding. Two--that's the sketch overlayed with the finished piece. The lines match up perfectly, so that doesn't really matter. Three--she is AMAZING with colors. I'll state that openly without a bit of trepidation. However, the fact remains that she needs anatomy lessons.

Her style itself doesn't bother me so much. What bothers me is that she makes it out like she's one of the best artists out there, period, regardless of fandom, and she isn't. I used to have a lot of respect for her--and I still have a lot of respect for her coloring ability--but when people go on to talk about how accurate all her art is and how no one will ever be as good as her? And then she's a jerk to the same people? There's something wrong there.

o_o I've been watching her for three years and I've never seen her act like she's so much better than anyone!

To be honest... I think a lot of people get that kind of impression from a popular artist, because of how everyone treats them. I have another friend who is treated the very same way, and, it bugs me to no end, because both of them are very nice people who just happen to be popular.

As for her rants about American stupidity.. @__@ Well it's not like I can completely disagree with her. Some of us kinda are stupid. But, I'll agree that I have seen her jump off the deep end on someone just for getting the wrong idea, rather than set them straight in a calm way.

When I said that the picture wasn't the finished version, what I mean is that she defined parts of the body more with the coloring.. For instance, the hip, she defined more with colors, so the anatomy makes a little more sense. The big head thing is mostly an anime v realism kind of thing. Some people prefer to deform the anatomy a little to make it more visually pleasing.. I think the booty is more of a preference thing.. And yeah, the boobs probably should be lowered a bit, though, personally, I would say, not quite as much as you redlined. ^^;

I don't know.. Some people on the internet have a way of saying things that doesn't sound at all like they're being polite or civil, so, depending on how you said what you said could be why she got upset at you, but, in the same sense, I think she should probably try to learn that not everyone who disagrees with her is out to get her.. (I think she gets stressed out by her own popularity, because people act like it's HER fault she's so popular.. In a way it is because she draws fanart that people like to look at, but.. I don't really think she was begging for pageviews or comments and favs by doing it.)
