12. I think rape fantasy is more prevalent in human sexuality than we know, but because it's such a difficult subject, we can't talk about it the way we can talk more now about things like fetishes and homosexual fantasies. Besides, nobody ever actually WANTS or DESERVES to have that kind of experience, so a person automatically feels ashamed for having those thoughts. Fandom gives some people a place to process stuff like that.
One can only pray that their readers won't be too judgemental. (See 13.)
