Even my severe dislike for Amano's portrayel of Locke (I said it, I don't like it!) can't stop me from commenting on how much LOVE you earn. While by sheerest technicality they aren't canon in the original version of the game or the PS remake (they never actually declare their love for each other), it's so goddamn obvious that they like each other that I want to smack people with a cluebat when they say there's "no basis." (Sorry people, Locke just isn't gay.)

I do appreciate other main FF pairings - I'm a hardcore Tidus/Yuna shipper - but it does make me sad to see the level of denial Locke and Celes get. They've got what is probably the most unusually-balanced romance in the entire series and they both still rock.

Have a Locke wanting to kill Edgar for all your win XD

I barely did anything with that though, the art was too damn good to mess with.

The spray-painted little heart just made it perfect.

Totally, the art is perfect! I honestly can say I've never seen that L/C pic before, it's lovely.

My friend found it somewhere and shipped it to me when I went "OMG NEED MORE ICONS!" 'cause I had basically none of them. I RP him slightly obsessively >.> Quite fun.

Heh, I used to be big-time into that fandom and series. Still have many fond memories of it.

I just recently made my L/C icon, too, because I thought it deserved one (and it's one of my fave pics I've ever found of them). XD

I still have lots of fond memories of it, too. It was such an amazing series.

Yeah, when you really look at it it was so different from a lot that's come before or sense - the characters actually changed and evolved, grew up. Made mistakes. Lived and died. Ep. 33 still makes me bawl.

Sorry people, Locke just isn't gay.

I never finished playing the gane the first time (though I did play up to the point where you can go and fight Kefka), but I thought there was enough flirting from Locke to establish that yes, he likes the female of the species.

Of course, he might like the menfolk as well. Who knows?
