Bones/Spock was always my ship.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-20 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I'll always have a weakness for this ship.
pantswarrior: Spock and Bones have all kinds of UST at each other. (spock/mccoy)

When I started watching TOS, I seriously went "Wait, people ship Spock and KIRK?"

I mean, eventually I figured out why, but by that time I had seen so much Spock/Bones flirting and eyesex that I can't seriously ship Kirk/Spock unless it's a threesome with Bones.

... commenting simply to say that I ADORE your icon.
pantswarrior: Remote-control Vulcan? BEST CHRISTMAS EVER! (yay!)

[personal profile] pantswarrior 2014-11-20 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Hahaha, thank you. Yours is pretty epic as well. :D

That scene in Bread and Circuses is basically the point in the series when I just said "you know what screw it" and started writing PWP. :D
silverr: Dax looking incredulous (DS9_tribble)

LOL ... I can certainly understand the impulse.

(omg, I love that Spock's Brain one too! ~ Did you make them? Can I pinch them if I credit you?)

pantswarrior: Seven declares that fun may commence. (fun fun fun fun)

[personal profile] pantswarrior 2014-11-20 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
It didn't help that I have a certain amount of prison kink. XD

And yeah, I made my icons... I actually think I have three or four from Spock's Brain hanging around on various accounts - it's such glorious camp nonsense. XD And sure, pinch away!
silverr: closeup of frightened face with the word CRAP (_ohshit)

(oh good lord and now a Seven icon!)

Fair warning: I intend to pilfer and pillage your profile.

I started watching TOS kind of expecting all this Kirk/Spock gayness, and was so surprised when I ended up shipping Spock and Bones. Kirk and Spock might totally love each other, but there was so much so much electric chemistry and tension between Spock and McCoy, damn.
pantswarrior: Spock may not know what "menage a trois" means... (kirkspockmccoy)

[personal profile] pantswarrior 2014-11-20 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Holy CRAP yes. There were so many moments where they were like inches apart, glaring at each other in the middle of an argument where they were basically fighting over which of them gets to sacrifice themselves for the other and/or Kirk, and I'm just like "............So when do they kiss?"

I think one of my favorite Spock and McCoy episodes is the Immunity Syndrome, where Bones spends the entire episode being worried about Spock going on a dangerous mission in his tsundere way. And before Spock leaves McCoy and Spock keep looking into each other's eyes and Spock asks McCoy to 'wish him luck', and then Spock leaves while sad violin music plays...

(Anonymous) 2014-11-20 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
... And then, when Spock is already gone and can't hear him, McCoy says "Good luck, Spock".

Immunity Syndrome is so one of my favourite episodes.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-20 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
..And then when Spock is in the ship and going to do something very dangerous, and over the comm to the bridge he says (as his possible last words) "Tell Dr. McCoy he should have wished me luck"

Yes, such a good episode.

I spent so much of this series thinking "It wouldn't kill the two of you to admit that you love each other! You offer to die for each other every other week as it stands!" They just ... oh, they're the ship of my heart. They really are.
pantswarrior: Spock and Bones go "WTF". Unsurprisingly, at their captain. (wtf)

[personal profile] pantswarrior 2014-11-20 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh man, yes, I could gush about that episode, and that scene in particular, just about forever. And then the way Bones reacts when they discover Spock's NOT dead, and Kirk's just like "hahahah you're not fooling anyone"
abharding: (McCoy)

Adding to the people who think that is a great icon...

Yeeees.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-20 08:20 am (UTC)(link)
The reboot writers must think the same since they turtned their k/s into something that looks like TOS spock/mcCoy (+ scenes copied from orig!k/s)
