Not to ruin all your hopes and dreams or anything, but Korra is fairly tall. Mako and Asami are just even taller.

Yeah, this. I think some people have calculated her height based on other characters from screen shots to be something like 5'7".

It doesn't! :D I live in a city where the population is mostly Hispanic and Asian, which means the general population is actually considered pretty short. I just happen to be shorter than anyone else. When the upper echelon is 5'9 and the normal 5'4, being 5'2 makes one feel like a Keebler elf.

(I should also add that I have had throughout my entire life the unhappy circumstances of being completely surrounded by people who were at least slightly taller than me. Being the "runt" is a literal thing. I'm slight and light too; I spent half my childhood being a baseball.)

Weeeell, if it's make you feel better, the average for a woman living in the US is 5'4'', for men 5'9'' and for Hispanics is a couple of inches less than that, so I would say you're aren't really that short.

Statistically it sounds like that, but seriously when you are the shortest person in the group, you feel it, even if it's only a couple of inches. It comes with its problems (being disregarded or condescended to) and its perks (people don't feel threatened so they're more likely to be friendly).

yeah, i was gonna say isn't Mako like 6'4" or 6'2"? that would put Asami at around 5'11" at the shortest and Korra maybe at 5'8".
