I usually have my slash goggles firmly on, but I just don't see Sterek at all, because they hardly interact and when they do, there doesn't seem to be any special bond or chemistry. It's a bit awkward when my friend complains about how the writers are 'ignoring sterek' but imho there's nothing to ignore..?

LOST juggernaut ships are(/were?) the worst. 90% of the slash is Sawyer/Jack which maybe made some sense on s1 or so, but after that almost all their conflicts and interactions had to do with Kate and their love for her. Sure it wasn't a very slashy show to begin with, but there were some much more charged and interesting dynamics to explore imho! I feel like the entire basis for this ship was 'the two most conventionally attractive guys banter a bit -> instant otp'.
