3: Love the books, loved the first season, love Michael C. Hall for his portrayal but second season was a bore. Also... Dexter fandom, I keep away for a reason so in other words... WORD!

I completely agree with all of your statements (though I might even go so far as to say I was annoyed/in complete disbelief at the second season)...

Glad that someone else understands about the fandom as a whole. You seem to have a pretty good grasp on things, though. < 3

Can't say I got as far as annoyed/in complete disbelief for the moment. But then again I sadly lost interest in the second season after the first five eps. I have yet to see the rest. I have them laying around but I just can't motivate me into watching them, especially not after just having re-read the books.

I was looking forward to it so much (because I was in a different country and didn't know if I'd be able to watch it when it came out) that I probably just put too much stock in the second season. XD

(And I can understand about the rest of the episodes, but MCH makes it ...worth it. < 3 He does so well.)
