It's too...IDK. I can't put my finger on it. Although I shouldn't have said sucked I don't know Japanese intimately enough to know his acting skill, and it's not like he sounds like a 5 year old girl or something really inappropriate, I just...like I said, the English voice is just terrifyingly chilly and slimy and deliciously perfect for what I think he should sound like.

I've had a few issues with some of his delivery with a few lines (Mainly that there's times when, IMO, even if Oro was feeling nasty, he'd play nice, like when they're going to see Nawaki's body), but on a whole, I love him.

Five year old girl? To me he sounds like an effeminate middle aged man. Sinister and slimy and a little charismatic.

WHICH... I AM QUITE FOND OF.

I'm saying he DOESN'T sound like that. Like...The Japnese voice is, to me, not nearly as good as the English, BUT he's not horrendously miscast (The 5 year old girl being the example of horrendously miscasting)

Aw, sorry, I misread that. Thanks for not bitching me out in a typical FS way. I actually don't like his English voice, to be honest, although I've only seen a couple of episodes of the dub where he's made an appearance. The pacing of his voice(there's a better word for this that escapes me) isn't as creeping.

Matter of personal opinion, I suppose. I rarely prefer dubs over subs.

Yeah, see I'm the polar opposite, I generally prefer even lower quality dubs just cause it's hard for me to sit and WATCH Tv, I draw, an on AIM, etc...

My wording was pretty harsh, So I understand jumping to attack mode.

If I want to multitask while I'm watching something, I put on American cartoons. The quality of voice acting is something that's important to me, to be able to get into a show. So while I occasionally watch dubs because I prefer them, I wouldn't do it just for a chance to look away from the screen while someone is soliloquizing and still know what's going on.

Ahaha, attack mode.

SUB VERSUS DUB IS SO 1999. LETS GET ALONG AND EAT COTTON CANDY AND GO BOWLING.

There's very few American cartoons I like, or TV shows period, maybe a hand ful. And since I'm a drama kids, I prefer knowing what the actings like, even if it's bad (although I have heard very little bad acting in Naruto dub. A few miscasts, but very little bad acting. Most people that scream bad acting for it, just wanna tear it down cause it's a dub).

Unless you know a language incredibly intimately, judging the acting is hard, if not impossible, especially denied facial expressions and body language. You can usually tell when it's HORRID, but as long as it reaches the level of "I can listen to this without my ears bleeding." you can't really pick up anything but tone, because you (And I mean the general you, not like you specific) don't know the language well enough to pick up all the subtle nuances and such. In other words, I'd rather know they suck (Or, on the flip side, don't) then just listen to a pleasant sounding voice (And some of those voice are veeeery pleasant~).

Bah, tl;dr, I know but yeah, we can disagree with out blood letting ♥ (Can it be the cool like...black light bowling?)
