9. I love comfy old fandoms. I rejoined the Sailormoon fandom soon after it started dying, and now that all the Harry Potter books are out I'm starting to get into that. Yay for missing the wank wave. :D

Confession, though... although I'm sure I'll always prefer getting into fandom late, I still kick myself for missing the cutting edge of everything. I know it's stupid, but I do. :\

43. Hearing things like that makes me wonder how one breaks into that sort of business. >.>

44. DISCWORLD FTW! I've been a fan of the Discworld longer than anything else, and I think Terry Pratchett will always be my favorite author. I've never fangirled anything like I fangirl him. But... I've never even drawn near the fandom (except for belonging to discworld) because what I primarily do in fandoms is write fic, and I know I'm not good enough to write Discworld properly. If I tried, it would be nothing but a stain on its awesomeness. So I almost never even consider it. :\
