Linda Hamilton, Lena Headey = tough, beautiful women who can also act the hell out of that role

Emilia Clarke = woman who can sort of cry and look good naked.

Her physique may need some work, but I think she can surprise us. She already looks sort of boss in the secret.

This is me calling it BTW. When / if everyone does a 180 on her like they did when ledger was cast as the joker, I want it known some little nobody anon on FS called it.

on rewatches Linda Hamilton is not realllllyyyy that great of an actress. T2 is especially terrible but at least she has Edward 'whiny voice' Furlong to make her look better.

Come on, she goes from being a more typical soft-voiced damsel in distress in the first movie to being a ripped ass-kicking heroine who busts herself out of the institution to save her son, that's some fine work right there.

There's another one being made? And it's a prequel? It's not going to ruin my childhood, or fuck over my like of Sarah Connor at all, but really. Hearing that Smith's role is supposed to be Skynet doesn't endear me to this reboot either.

Yeah, I have a feeling this will be another Terminator thing I pretend doesn't exist. I'll probably stick with the first two movies + Sarah Connor chronicles' timeline.

I'm there with you. Didn't like the third movie and I pretend the Christian Bale one didn't happen.

I'm mostly distracted by the dude behind Emilia Clarke because he kind of looks like Matthew Perry to me. (I know it's not him it's just giving me weird images of Chandler in the Terminator universe).

I nope'd out of the idea of this movie as soon as they announced that Sarah was raised by a Terminator and she calls him "Pops". Imagine it. Emilia Clarke trying to casually call someone "Pops".
