The farting aliens two parter also had Harriet Jones, MP Flydale North. AKA the epitome of awesomesauce.

And yeah, DW has always, even in the '60s, been one week, awful nonsencial shit, the next week, wildly creative brilliance, the next week, crackily fun nonsensical shit. Total lottery.

My favorite episode was written during the Moffat era. However, my least favorite episode (which doesn't seem strong enough to describe how much I hate it) was also written during the Moffat era, so -shrug-
