I'm more opinionated online, and more likely to defend my opinion. I find it easier to be concise through writing rather than verbally.

I think both groups of people might say I'm more rude on the other medium: I'm much more stand-offish in real life, and sometimes that gives the wrong impression, whereas online I can be, and usually am, much more vitriolic.
