Today on Tumblr....

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
I have seen a post saying Walmart donated $10,000 to Darren Wilson so people should boycott walmart. Source? One twitter post made by some guy. Or maybe the Tumblr post came first.

Also, there is this new thing Tumblr is going where when someone says something racist on twitter, you find all their info, call their work, and harass the work until they fire them.

Of course, sometimes (all the time) Tumblr lacks critical thinking skills sooooooo you get the wrong store/restaurant. But of course no one checks so you have hundreds of people call some mom and pop store and harassing them.

I've seen at least one post about petition(s) to get Wilson charged/tried for first degree murder, which it wasn't no matter what side you stand on.

Tumblr people should really look things up before trying to do something.

Yeah, out of all the 'innocent black person gunned down' stories, MB is the worst to rally behind. Because he committed a felony before being a jackass in the street, before assaulting a police officer. I mean, jesus christ, the guy was 300 pounds and huge. Plus in the state hands are seen as weapons under the law, and MB started assaulting him in his police car before trying to get the gun. But of course tumblr made up a conspiracy theory that the video is totally not him and he totally didn't do that.

I don't remember seeing any tumblr outrage on that young black girl who had a really bright future ahead of her, even read a speech for the president, but was gunned down by two black thugs who thought her friend was someone else. IN A DAMN PARK IN THE DAYTIME. But hey, black deaths only matter if they're done by white people.

You're such a fucking whiner. You're complaining about tumblr when there are protests all over the U.S. over police brutality, as if this was some SJW thing and tumblr was in a huff over nothing. Sorry that reality is bigger than your shitty little bubble life. Also the fact that a big part of the outrage is the fact that it was a POLICE officer who shot an unarmed person, instead or regular murder, has sailed over your head.

Oh my god, don't even pretend you really care about the girl you're talking about. I bet you haven't done or said anything about her in any context outside of proving what hypocrites those whiny SJWs are.

Nobody cared about the unarmed white kid who was shot by a black cop for no reason a few days before MB.

NA

Does anyone have a list of deaths caused by the Ferguson protests? My google-fu's weak and can't find much.

Re: Today on Tumblr....

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think there have been any? I was watching Fox News earlier and they said there haven't been any serious injuries. I assume if there were anything they could parade to show how terrible the protesters are, they would.

It's kind of fun (by which I mean not fun at all) how these activists sometimes turn out to be way bigger criminals and assholes than the people they claim to fight against.

#stoptheparade

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Why yes! That is a protest idiots on the internet are trying to start. They want to stop the Macy' Thanksgiving day parade. because apparently only racist, white people enjoy it???

This is dumb

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
why should i, a regular of this community, care more this time, the seven billionth (i counted) time some dumb sjw tries to start something that won't pan out?

Re: #stoptheparade

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
I agree with everyone who is against stopping the parade, but you're jumping to stupid conclusions by saying the movement to stop it is because "only racist white people enjoy it." One, the OP of the hashtag did not say anything like that. Two, stopping a giant event in protest of something unrelated to it is nothing new and not about any correlation between the event and the cause of the protest. It's done to give visibility to the cause at an event that tons and tons of people will be watching. That is the reason for using events like the Macy's Parade. You do some research. Or just have some common sense.

Re: Today on Tumblr....

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
A place isn't going to fire someone just because some people from the internet harassed them about it. They have every right to side with their racist employee and get the people who found their info in trouble instead of firing the employee. Shockingly enough, though, lots of businesses actually don't want to have employees who are openly racist.

Re: Today on Tumblr....

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
People can complain about a business' employees too. Through the internet, a call, a letter or whatever, if people contact a business and tell them "this employee of yours has said racist things and it makes me hold your business in a lower regard", the business has every reason to fire that employee. Dunno what OP is so confused about.

Everyone in this thread sounds like a complete wanker tbh. How you manage to reduce a huge event and protest movement to a couple of SJWs and not feel like the dumbest shit is beyond me.

Re: Today on Tumblr....

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
This. Everyone complaining about SJWs here is worse than them in every way.

Re: Today on Tumblr....

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 08:27 am (UTC)(link)
Because everyone liked to pretend the guy who just strong armed a convenience store didn't assault a police officer to avoid jail time? What about the white twenty two year old who was shot, unarmed, a few weeks later? All he did was have his hands in his pocket/was wearing earbuds and couldn't hear their commands. Oh right, he's white, doesn't count!

ppl here acting like they're hotshot trolls but then think a protest potentially halting a million dollar company's yearly million-dollar parade is just a bunch of SJWs doing nothing lol

it's the same as all of them bragging about how they're going to stand up to their families and talk about Ferguson at the Thanksgiving dinner table

yeah, I'm SO sure they will- pff, ha, no, bring their social justice into the real world in front of people who can shut them up real quick and not give a shit? Yeah, right!

Re: Today on Tumblr....

(Anonymous) 2014-11-27 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
there's also credit card info being stolen and spread around tumblr with instructions on how to drain the accounts/donate money towards Ferguson

considering how stupid most people on tumblr are, I hope every single one of them who's done it gets caught and faces charges

their stupid shit defense of 'someone on the internet said something MEAN so of course I had the right to steal and use their credit cards!1' would be hilarious to witness if you ask me
