Back when the show was on, I was 1) amused there was a paleontologist on tv! and 2) amused by them constantly ragging on him. But then, me and my family have always found my being in paleontology rather humorous (I mean seriously, who in their right mind wants to play with really really dead things all day?).

But on the other hand, yeah, them never being friendly about each others' jobs that I remember was pretty obnoxious.

Well, if you're going to play with dead things to start with, the deader the better, really. Bones are fine. It's when they dead but still juicy that they're a problem.

It's not like you can kill long-dead animals any more than they're already dead.
