I am a man and I think I favor female characters and personas. At some point I had to accept that it's just a preference, OK?

I do split it.

I have played male characters in RPG's. When I played D&D I probably played male characters more often than female characters. But sometimes in video games I'd rather play the woman because I don't click as much with the male figure.

And a lot of my favorite leads in stories are women.

That might have something to do with "Third person seductress" thing. Men play women characters because they like to control women characters. It's a perv thing, usually.

Oh please, really? Why can't it just be that most people find the opposite sex more interesting to see in a story? And don't pretend that women don't play as men for the eye candy as the person above admitted to. Both sides do it, there's nothing wrong with that.
