Besides working, stressing about work, sleeping, and having horribly stressful dreams while trying to sleep, I've been watching Yu-Gi-Oh. Watched the first season when I was a kid and enjoyed it, but, man, it's a very fun show to watch as an adult too. It's so ridiculous and it's kind of my light shining in darkness right now because it makes laugh really hard.

What about you guys? I don't really get much time to read or comment anymore. :(

I love Yu-Gi-Oh! the abridged series. It's way funnier to me when I've seen the actual episode recently as well.

I've been rewatching the abridged series too but I kind of find the actually Yu-Gi-Oh show more fun to watch? I dunno. I loved the abridged series back in the day but I laugh a lot harder at the seriousness of the actual show than the jokes in abridged series. Plus, the duels in the show are so dramatic and hilarious and the abridged series cuts them down. I love when they rapid fire trigger each other's trap/magic cards and it's this epic battle of oneupmanship and posturing. Plus, one time I s2g Yugi played a card that was called Mystic Rap Battle and I can't stop thinking about what a Mystic Rap Battle entails.

I'm almost, almost, ALMOST done with this stupid tax prep course that I'm not even going to get a job out of. I mostly just watch South Park, sleep, and play video games when I'm not stressing over this dumb class or any of the other shit in my life.

How do you know you won't get a job outta it? (Ps I feel your pain. I spent two weeks teaching tax law this month and it sucks.)

Everyone else started up the process for employment, I wasn't invited to that.

What? That sucks. Well, if you get your certification you should still be able to apply to various paid-preparer companies, I'd think. I don't really know how the process works, but if you are certified as a paid preparer, it helps, doesn't it?

Marik and Evil Bakura crack me up too because they are just so vaguely evil, but Pegasus was amazing.

Will Kaiba ever not be an asshole? I don't know why I liked him as a kid.

Are you watching 4kids? because I like sub Kaiba much, much more.

Kaiba does progress (primarily in the filler arcs, hehe), but most of the time he's:

Yeah, watching the dub. I'm not interested enough in anime to care about watching the subs. Just wanna watch something stupid and funny, and the dub fills that void. Hanging out of helicopter looking like jerk sounds like Kaiba to me.

We put up the Christmas tree. And now I am waiting for my family to leave. Including the one looking over my shoulder.

I found Flight Rising. So basically that, and less of other things than I should be doing.

Do your horribly stressful dreams consist of, oh say, looking for your underwear because you don't have any on, so you run everywhere though huge crowds doing arcane tasks in a towel, and nothing will get you dressed?

No, I don't usually have have naked dreams. And when I have they haven't been stressful because my dream self doesn't care about being naked. My stressful dreams are like: getting fired for being incompetent (but I was rated incompetent unfairly and no one would listen to me), trying to help people at work but not really knowing what I'm doing, and my mom yelling at me because I caused her to have a miscarriage and there is blood and chunks that look like a dead fetus right in front at me while she yells at me. Stuff like that.

that does sound like a good reason to stay up all night.

It was a beautiful day today! I WAS OUTSIDE SO MUCH 8D IT WAS AWESOME! Almost all day, me, and the dogs, and the goat. We played with the barn cats that didn't run away from the dogs. Chewy(Mom & Dad's shih tzu) found something nasty to roll in and, Dad had to give him a bath. I bugged Mom and Dad for while. Dad had to bring their laundry over to my place because something is wrong with their washing machine.(Chewy came with him, that's when he found the thing he rolled in.)

The best part is it's supposed to be even nicer tomorrow so we can do it all again. Except for Chewy rolling in stuff, I'd like to avoid a repeat that bit.

I've been lacking on the personal enjoyment side of things too. I've owned Pokemon Omega Ruby for a week now and I've only played 8 hours worth - and some of it was me walking off and leaving the game on D:

However, today I'm donating blood. So that's 30 minutes of pokemon. I also need to vacuum but my housemate is asleep so I'll have to do it after blood donating and I'm worried I'll be too dizzy.

I did very definitely get incredibly busy the past 5 months :C Hence FS absence, but I think I'm getting a better handle on my weekends at least...

Trying to finish my NaNo project. Word count is all good but the story still lacks a proper ending and I'd need not one but two more days to complete it.

Physical thereapy! I fucked my back up at 19 but this time i also messed up a hamstring compensating for it while walking around when it got thrown out agian, and the last two months have been a fun exercise in painkillers and stretching.

YGO is the best, that's all I have to say. ~~I enjoyed it unironically, too.~~

I went to my local annual SF con today. It's not nearly as large or well-run as it was when I was a kid/teen. The programming people never reached out of my parents, even though they speak there more years that not. It took 3 tries for my dad to finally hear back from them that they would have panels; and even then, they didn't find out what topics they would be doing there until Thanksgiving afternoon (so less than 24 hours before the con opened...) So inept.

My favorite dealer (a family friend after decades of local con acquaintance) also passed away this past spring. His wife doesn't have the booth there this year; I don't know if she made other arrangements for the weekend or if the Hornsmythe has gone online-only with Cal's passing. He was just about the kindest, most gentlemanly human being I have ever had the pleasure to know. It's just not the same not seeing him anymore.

Drawing a lot but it's been great. I give people who do this for a living a lot of credit though, it takes so much self discipline.

Other than that I've had the shittiest time of my life these last few weeks and need to vent. Fuck people, man. Just fuck 'em.
