Well thanks, I didn't feel bad enough about it already. :/

(Even though I don't see how keeping him as a Warden is the 'wrong' choice, yes, it hurts. Still, I made that choice for a reason, so from now on I'm just going to need to do a lot of headcanon'ing on certain playthroughs.)

Who'd you kill? Him or Hawke?

I actually haven't done that quest yet, but youtube spoiled me. (Was looking for a vid of a f!Inquisitor flirting with Cass, and 'Varric mourns Hawke' was in the suggested links. I freaked out.)

I will 'kill' my Hawke (the quest says 'likely die'! though, yes, Hawke will probably die, or if not come back later possessed by a dark spirit), since maybe the Warden will find a way to cure the calling. My first Warden is my favorite, and Ali is my all time favorite LI so I can't leave him behind or give up on their 'happily ever after' even if it's unlikely. (And I did say to myself, "Well, how likely is it that the Warden is going to find a cure for the calling? Alistair and the Warden probably don't have much longer to live." But I still can't leave Alistair.)

I'm interested in how things play out with your LI in the future. (Like...if you leave Anders alive, which I did on this play-through, will he try to rescue Hawke? He's trying to be 'better' but he has to be unstable; I can imagine him trying something dumb and risky.)

DA

I wish it was possible to blacklist tags on youtube as well because that is EXACTLY what happened to me @ suggested video..

Yea, it sucks. :( You shouldn't go looking for a flirt conversation and be spoiled by a major character death or major plot point. In this particular instance I think I'm actually sort of glad to be spoiled because I was so heartbroken and now I've had some time to get used to the idea, but I don't want this to happen again. I think I'll just stay away from YouTube until I finish the game...

I'm trying to finish my companions quests before progressing with the story, and getting distracted by other shit along the way, so it might be a while. I wish YouTube wasn't so risky.

I didn't even search for it, I just got it as a "You might also like" on my frontpage, probably because I watched the trailer because I never looked at anything else about Inquisition.

:( That's even worse! I hate that you don't even have to be logged in to get those suggestions. Sometimes it can be helpful, sometimes...yea, no.
