If you make Alistair a warden at the end of DA1 he shows up in DAI as a warden in a mission where you need to send someone to die. You can either fuck over the wardens and send Alister to die, or you can let Hawke die.

People were like 8(

If you made Alistair a King, some other warden shows up. You're still fucking over the wardens, but the choice is between some random nobody, and Hawke.

It's not that boring. You need the wardens help, so you really should kill hawke.

If you're not already playing it, I'm pretty sure you can manipulate your choice about Alistair via The Keep and then import it when you start?
