Re: Netflix might be replacing movie theaters.

I pay $8 a month for hundreds of movies on Netflix, and find enough of them interesting that I can't get my to-watch list under 70, I can watch them as often as I like, whenever and however I like. Whereas I have to pay $8 to see one film, one time, in the nearest theater, and it's only that cheap on discount Tuesdays.

I truly enjoy the theater experience, there's nothing quite like watching a big dramatic movie with total strangers laughing and crying and applauding right along with you, but it's an experience that just isn't worth the money for me outside of a few times a year, which I guess isn't enough to keep theaters going in comparison to Netflix/Hulu/Crunchyroll/what have you.
