You know what I would love? If movie!verse Sharon Carter isn't related to Peggy Carter at all, they just happen to share the same last name. It's not like Carter is a rare name or anything. And since they've already made her look different from Peggy (comics!verse Sharon was the spitting image of Peggy, for more creepiness added to the replacement goldfish trope), it wouldn't be that hard to do, and neatly solves a lot of the things I dislike about the pairing.
