in 99% of constantine's storylines he's only shown interest in women, the bisexual thing was one story arc and a passing mention.

so while he's technically canonically bi, it's not like we're talking about jack harkness or nolan ross.

My point is, we're talking about a fictional character who has appeared in over 400 issues, and he had one storyline where he was in a sexual relationship with another man.

it feels like people are really misrepresenting his character when they act like he's this big queer character in the comics and the show is making a big change by not including it.

I don't think people are acting like he's a "big queer character," they're just saying that they're bothered he's being presented as 100% straight, when he's not.

I've only ever been in one relationship with a woman and all of my other relationships have been with men, but I'm still attracted to women and still definitely bi.

I don't think your point is irrelevant - perhaps Constantine actually is more into girls than guys, even if he is definitely bisexual. If we were just talking about Constantine as a character, sure.

That being said, it would have been so great to have a canon bisexual male lead in an action superhero TV series. I think that representation would have meant so much, but apparently it won't happen, so. Yeah. It sucks.
