That's the whole problem with censoring "bad" words in general, isn't it? Everyone knows what the bad word is that you're sticking asterisks in or substituting for, so the effect is the same. You just get to feel falsely self-righteous for a few seconds.

I think it's bullshit. Either don't write the slur/curseword at all or do it properly. Same goes for all "harmless" versions of cursewords (like feck, heck, etc.) - Either curse or don't curse.
