It's the life cycle of the genre actor. First you get really famous for portraying a semi-iconic character on a not very well regarded scifi/fantasy show. Then you try to go into other things but find that your connection to that shows is seen as a detriment to your success and audiences ability to take you seriously as another character. Then you realize just how beneficial such a fanbase can be both for money and good will and you learn to embrace it. It happened to Shatner, it happened to Adam West, and maybe now it's happening to Amy Jo Johnson.

Exactly. And both Shatner and Adam West seem to really enjoy the con experience, so hopefully it turns out as well for Amy. I would love to get her autograph if she came to a con, Kimberly was the most kickass valley girl ever!
