Nah.

I'll fully admit there are games I'm not good enough to play at online but which I still occasionally play (like Smash, for example). There's a ton of reasons why people might not want to play competitively, starting with 'competitive gaming scenes are frequently really terrible' and going on from there. My personal one is 'I only do it for games I give enough of a shit about to get really good at,' which doesn't include Smash since 90% of my playtime on that is dicking around with custom movesets and in Smash Run.

And also, I generally prefer not to play against other people anyway. I mess around with friends sometimes, but aside from a very brief time when I was into amateur competitive Pokemon back in DPPt era, I prefer to play games myself.

I mean, sometimes I do want the 'I'll kick anyone's ass! I'll kick your ass, I'll kick your dog's ass, I'll kick my own ass!' experience, but hey, I can get that without logging into the toxic competitive scene around most of the games I play that have one at all.
