I agree.

I used to find it annoying when my favourite fic writers moved on without forwarding details, but now I understand so much. It keeps fanfic fun and there's no need to delete the old embarrassing stuff that other people might still enjoy.

Last year I got comments on a 10 year old fanfic, which I wrote 3 user names ago. So I'm glad I kept that account up, although I never want to see any of that old fic or even worse, my old blog posts again. I locked all of those, left my fic public, and got out of there as fast as I could.
