While I do not consider myself christian, Christmas in my favourite holiday.

I also am generally annoyed by those who whine about "Merry Christmas" versus "Happy Holidays" or whatever. Seriously, it's not a personal attack.

I am Christian, and I find the Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays thing ridiculous. I mean sure, if you're doing it in a super obvious and "cutesy" way... but Happy Holidays is acknowledging other holidays. Or just saying, you know, the holidays make me happy, I hope they make you happy too.

I have no problem with it either way - tell me Merry Christmas, or Happy Holidays, or Happy Hanukkah or a gay Yuletide - idgaf. I'm just going to assume the person is happy and wants to share that sentiment - and hey, if they're an asshole and didn't mean it in a nice way - joke's on them, cause I'll be the one in a good mood.
