I'm queer, and I agree. It doesn't affect me at all. Besides, sometimes gay characters come out in canon and it's a surprise to the audience, after people are already shipping them with a character of the opposite gender. You can't expect everyone to un-ship it just because a character suddenly says "oh by the way I'm gay"... or the writer says it but doesn't even write it in the story itself.

And speaking of such things, I laughed a long time at that pic.

Yeah, I personally am not a fan of that, but I can hardly fault anyone for shipping what they want, especially when it's one of the "word of god says it's so but only after the series was done and it was never mentioned in the actual canon" or "the reveal happened very late in the series".
